The AL203 is a single SBus board that provides a high-speed serial linkover fiber-optic cable to another AL203 or other Augment 200 seriesproducts. The address space of one board may be mapped onto the bus ofthe other. This allows direct, random access between the twointerconnected buses.Both systems may operate independently. Multiple windows can be set upwith address translation for scatter-gather operations.
